WriterGirl provides healthcare content every day to guide your patients’ journeys. But who are we?
You can learn a bit about our core team here. You’ll read that we’re experienced, efficient, down-to-earth and easy-going. And that we embrace core values that guide our work: empowered, kind, fun and curious.
For the past several months we’ve made curiosity part of our teambuilding efforts through an activity to help us learn more about each another. We share stories, photos, memories and games. We share where we are on our personal journeys, and where we hope to go as individuals and as part of the WriterGirl team. It’s motivating and inspiring.
Last week’s activity was to share the song that best describes us. It was really hard! I narrowed it down to three. That’s after a detour to a quiz promising that whatever song was number 1 on your 14th birthday somehow defines you.
Our choices share some common themes. Self-discovery and empowerment. The joy of new beginnings and determination to stay the course. Finding support in challenging times and joy wherever we can.
Research into how music affects the brain shows it fuels the body and mind. It affects mood, helps us relax, motivates us and impacts wellness. Check out the WriterGirl playlist below and see if you agree.
